What is it used for?

The AS-1 furrow plow's main function is to break the surface layer of compacted soil, opening furrows in the ground. The width of these furrows varies according to the type of planting or sowing to be carried out. This accessory features a V-shaped design, which cuts through vegetation cover, aerates the soil and creates clods of earth on both sides.

How does the work system work?

The AS-1 furrower has a wing-shaped end that penetrates the soil and is manually dragged to create the desired furrow. The width between the furrows is adjusted by the operator, taking into account the need to avoid unwanted root contact between crops.

Recommendations

Before using the AS-1 furrower, it is recommended to prepare the soil properly, ensuring that it is soft and spongy, with the necessary depth for the crop to be planted, generally between 20 and 25 cm. It is important to maintain a symmetrical profile in relation to the groove axis.
