Shipping Options and Costs
Information on destinations, delivery times, shipping costs and applicable conditions.
1. Introduction to the Shipping Service
MagMag offers shipping services to Portugal, European Union countries and, subject to quotation, other international destinations.
Shipping costs and delivery times may vary depending on the destination country, delivery address, weight, volume, type of product, available carrier and any specific logistical requirements.
This page provides information on the main shipping options, shipping cost calculation, personalised quotations, international deliveries, tracking and customer support.
2. Automatic Shipping Cost Calculation for European Union Countries
To make the purchasing process easier, MagMag provides automatic shipping cost calculation at checkout for European Union countries.
Current availability: automatic shipping cost calculation is available for European Union countries, except for cases involving special territories, islands, outermost regions, remote areas or destinations subject to specific logistical, tax or customs treatment.
Examples of destinations that may require manual confirmation or a personalised quotation include certain island territories, outermost regions, areas with logistical restrictions or territories associated with European Union countries but not covered by the same transport conditions.
How it works:
- During checkout, shipping costs are calculated automatically based on the delivery address, weight, volume and characteristics of the products in the cart.
- The applicable shipping costs are displayed before the order is confirmed, whenever the system allows automatic calculation.
- For bulky, heavy, fragile products or items subject to special transport conditions, shipping may be subject to manual confirmation or a personalised quotation.
- When the system is unable to calculate shipping costs automatically for a given address, the Customer may contact MagMag to request a personalised quotation.
Free shipping:
- Certain items may benefit from free shipping to specific destinations. When applicable, this information will be indicated on the product page and/or at checkout.
- Free shipping campaigns may be limited to certain countries, products, shipping methods, delivery zones or promotional periods.
3. Personalised Quotations for Special Destinations, Outside the EU or Specific Orders
For destinations where automatic shipping cost calculation is not available — including certain special territories, islands, remote areas, outermost regions, countries outside the European Union or products with specific logistical requirements — MagMag may provide a personalised transport quotation.
When a personalised quotation may be required:
- Shipments to countries outside the European Union.
- Special territories, islands, remote areas or outermost regions.
- Destinations associated with European Union countries but subject to specific tax, customs or logistical treatment.
- Bulky, heavy, fragile products or products requiring special packaging.
- Orders with multiple parcels or pallets.
- Addresses or destinations with specific logistical restrictions.
How to request a personalised quotation:
- Direct contact: you may contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, indicating the desired products and the full delivery address.
- Online form: you may also complete the contact form available on our website, indicating the list of desired products, country, postcode, locality and any relevant information for calculating transport costs.
Response time:
We usually aim to respond to quotation requests within up to 72 business hours. This timeframe may vary depending on the complexity of the order, destination, carrier availability and the need to confirm additional costs.
4. Shipping Outside the European Union
For shipments to countries outside the European Union, customs duties, import VAT, customs fees, administrative charges, customs clearance costs, transport insurance or other local charges may apply.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or in the transport costs presented by MagMag.
The Customer is responsible for checking with the competent local authorities whether the ordered products may be legally imported and used in the destination country.
4.1. Europe outside the European Union – Incoterm DAP
For shipments within Europe but outside the European Union, the Incoterm DAP (Delivered at Place) may be used, unless a different agreement is indicated in the quotation.
- MagMag organises transport to the destination location indicated by the Customer.
- Customs duties, import taxes, customs fees and other local charges are, where applicable, the responsibility of the recipient.
4.2. United States, Canada, Australia and other international destinations – Incoterm DAP
For international shipments by road, air or express transport, the Incoterm DAP may be used, unless a different agreement is indicated in the quotation.
- MagMag organises transport to the location designated by the Customer.
- Customs duties, import fees, local taxes, administrative charges and other destination charges are, where applicable, the responsibility of the recipient.
4.3. International maritime shipments – Incoterms CFR or CIF
For certain international maritime shipments, where applicable, Incoterms such as CFR (Cost and Freight) or CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight) may be used, depending on the type of order, destination and agreement with the Customer.
- CFR: MagMag bears the cost of maritime transport to the indicated destination port. The risk is transferred to the buyer when the goods are loaded onto the vessel at the port of origin.
- CIF: in addition to the cost of maritime transport to the indicated destination port, this includes maritime insurance under the agreed terms. The risk is transferred to the buyer when the goods are loaded onto the vessel at the port of origin.
The chosen Incoterm will be indicated in the quotation or applicable documentation. The Customer must ensure that they understand the costs, risks, import responsibilities, unloading, customs clearance and inland transport in the destination country.
5. Deliveries, Tracking and Transport Damage
5.1. Order tracking
After dispatch, whenever available, a tracking number and/or carrier tracking link will be provided. The Customer may use these details on the carrier’s website to follow the delivery status.
5.2. Verification at the time of delivery
The Customer must check the condition of the packaging at the time of delivery. If visible damage is present, we recommend that the incident be recorded on the carrier’s delivery document and that MagMag be contacted immediately, preferably on the same day.
The absence of a damage report at the time of delivery may make a claim against the carrier more difficult.
5.3. Damaged orders or missing items
In the event of damaged packaging, damaged products or missing items, please contact our customer support team, indicating the order number, a description of the situation and, whenever possible, photographs of the packaging, transport label and product received.
The situation will be reviewed by MagMag and, where applicable, a solution will be presented in accordance with the law, which may include replacement, repair, shipment of the missing item, partial refund or full refund.
5.4. Change of address after dispatch
After the order has been dispatched, changing the delivery address may not be possible. If you need to change delivery details, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible so that we can check with the carrier whether any solution is available.
Any additional costs resulting from a change of address, re-dispatch or new delivery attempt may be charged to the Customer when they result from an error in the data provided or a change requested by the Customer.
6. Returns
The conditions applicable to returns, exchanges, right of withdrawal and legal guarantee are described in our Terms and Conditions.
As a general rule, in distance contracts, the consumer Customer has a period of 14 days from the physical receipt of the goods to exercise the right of withdrawal, under the legally applicable terms.

8. Additional Information
The delivery times shown are estimates and may vary due to external factors, including carrier operations, customs, periods of higher logistical volume, strikes, public holidays, weather conditions, local restrictions or other events outside MagMag’s direct control.
MagMag reserves the right to refuse, suspend or propose an alternative shipping solution when the order, destination, address or product characteristics present relevant logistical, legal or commercial limitations.
