What is the harvester's work system like?
The working system of this comb harvester is more similar to the old harvester: shake and lightly hit the ends of the thinnest branches so that the olives fall. They carry out this action using a fan-shaped comb device, whose teeth or rods are inserted between the leaves and branches, shaking them.
This harvester incorporates a 2-stroke gasoline engine that works with a mixture of oil and gasoline. It is a simple but powerful engine, ideal for any user. This one will endure the day of harvesting with complete solvency thanks to its 1.6 hp of power.
This harvester has been designed with the aim of making the job easier, so that the operator can focus on harvesting the olive trees, instead of paying attention to technical issues.
The parts of the harvester are the following:
The rods: made with carbon fiber, a resistant material that does not cause injuries to the branches, so the following year's harvest will not suffer. Its movement allows it to cover the greatest number of olives and ensure that even the most resistant ones fall.
The head: it is the part where the rods are located.
The rod or transmission: the part that transmits the energy from the motor to the head and that, due to its length, allows it to reach the highest parts of the olive tree.
The handle: is ergonomic and soft to the touch.
Recommendations:
For optimal operation of the machine, the head must be lubricated every 10-12 hours of work using a lubricant indicated for these tasks and machinery.
