8. Placing an Online Order
We provide two main options for making purchases on the website:
- Customer Registration: allows for a personalised experience, making it easier to manage addresses, track orders and consult purchase history.
- Fast Checkout: a quick purchase option, without the need for registration, ideal for occasional visitors.
Online-exclusive prices and promotions: prices and promotions displayed on the website are exclusive to the online store and may differ from those in physical stores. All promotional campaigns are subject to stock availability and are exclusive to online sales.
Available payment methods:
- Multibanco reference
- MB Way
- Credit card
- Cash on delivery mainland Portugal, subject to conditions
- Bank transfer
- PayPal
Acceptance of general conditions: by proceeding with the purchase, the Customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. After the order is completed, a confirmation email will be sent with the order details and payment instructions, where applicable. In most cases, payment must be made within the period indicated at checkout or in the confirmation communication, failing which the order may be automatically cancelled.
Transaction archiving: we keep a secure electronic record of purchase transactions, ensuring the possibility of consulting the order note and issuing a duplicate invoice, when requested and legally applicable.
9. Product Availability
Magager, Lda. undertakes to process orders after confirmation of the respective payment, except in cases where a payment or delivery method not requiring advance payment is made available. The availability of items can only be guaranteed after the order processing has begun, given the dynamic nature of stock.
Dispatch and delivery times:
- After payment confirmation, dispatch may occur within 24 hours, 2 to 4 working days, or 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the item and the availability indicated on the respective product page.
- The transport time, defined by the carrier and destination, shall be added to the dispatch time.
- Dispatches are carried out only on working days.
Management of product unavailability:
- In the event of unavailability, we will contact the supplier to verify the possibility of restocking the item. The Customer will be informed of any change in delivery time or price, and the order will proceed only after their consent.
- Alternatively, the order may be cancelled in whole or in part, with reimbursement of the amounts paid for unavailable items or for the entire order, as applicable.
Delay policy: any delay in relation to estimated dates shall not, by itself, confer a right to compensation, except in cases provided for by law. Magager, Lda. nevertheless strives to keep customers informed and minimise any inconvenience.
10. Shipping Costs
Magager, Lda. seeks to ensure transparent and accessible shipping costs. The main points to consider are:
- European Union: shipping costs are calculated automatically and displayed at checkout and in the order confirmation email, based on the weight, dimensions of the products and delivery location.
- Portuguese islands: the estimated dispatch time by sea is 5 to 15 days and may vary depending on weather conditions, logistical availability and carrier operations.
- Rest of Europe and worldwide: when automatic shipping calculation is not available, the Customer may request a transport quote before completing the order.
The applicable shipping costs will be displayed before the purchase is completed, whenever the system allows automatic calculation. Where this is not possible, the order may be subject to prior confirmation of the transport quote.
11. Deliveries
Verification at the time of delivery:
- The Customer must inspect the condition of the packaging at the time of delivery. If visible damage exists, the Customer should, whenever possible, record the incident on the carrier’s delivery note and/or refuse the order.
- In any case, it is essential to contact Magager, Lda. immediately, preferably on the same day, so that we can activate the necessary procedures with the carrier and assess the applicable solution.
Failed delivery:
- If the carrier is unable to deliver due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or repeated absence of the recipient, an additional amount of €8.95 VAT included may be charged for a new delivery attempt, where applicable and previously communicated to the Customer.
Magager, Lda. shall not be responsible for delays or delivery failures resulting from incorrect or incomplete data provided by the Customer, without prejudice to the rights legally applicable to the consumer.
The absence of a damage report at the time of delivery may make a claim against the carrier more difficult. Immediate verification of the packaging and the product received is therefore recommended.
12. Returns and Exchanges
Legal guarantee and lack of conformity:
In the event of a defect, error, wrong item, incomplete item or lack of conformity of the product with the contract, the Customer benefits from the rights legally provided for under Portuguese Decree-Law No. 84/2021 of 18 October, relating to the sale of consumer goods.
The Customer must report the situation to Magager, Lda., indicating the order/invoice number, a description of the problem and, whenever possible, photographs or other elements that allow the situation to be assessed.
Right of withdrawal:
- Under Portuguese Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February, the consumer Customer has a period of 14 days from the date of physical receipt of the goods to withdraw from the contract, without needing to state a reason.
- The withdrawal decision must be communicated by means of a clear statement, sent by letter or email, identifying the Customer, the order/invoice number, the goods concerned and the date of purchase/receipt.
- After communicating the withdrawal, the Customer must return the goods within 14 days, accompanied by the invoice and other documentation, to:
Magager, Lda.
Almofala de Baixo, S/N
3260-023 Aguda
Figueiró dos Vinhos
PORTUGAL
Return conditions:
- The product must be returned complete, preferably in its original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, components and documentation, and without signs of use beyond what is necessary to verify its nature, characteristics and functioning.
- Unless otherwise provided by law, the direct costs of returning the goods shall be borne by the Customer.
- After receipt and verification of the returned goods, the amount paid for the product and the initial delivery costs corresponding to the least expensive standard delivery method offered by Magager shall be reimbursed. Supplementary costs resulting from the Customer’s choice of a different and more expensive delivery method shall not be reimbursed.
- The reimbursement shall be made within the legal period of 14 days, using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless expressly agreed otherwise and at no cost to the Customer. Magager may withhold reimbursement until it has received the returned goods or until the Customer provides proof of dispatch.
- If the returned goods show signs of improper use, damage, broken seals, missing components or depreciation resulting from handling beyond what is necessary, Magager may deduct the corresponding amount from the reimbursement, under the terms of the law.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:
The right of withdrawal may not apply in legally provided cases, namely to goods made to the Customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, goods which by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate rapidly, sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons when opened after delivery, and other situations provided for under applicable legislation.
13. Cancellations
Cancellation before dispatch: the Customer may request cancellation of the order before dispatch, with the right to full reimbursement of the amounts paid, except in cases of personalised products, products specifically ordered from the supplier or other legally excepted cases, where applicable and previously communicated.
After dispatch:
- If cancellation occurs after dispatch, return costs shall be borne by the Customer, unless otherwise provided by law. After receipt, the Customer may exercise the right of withdrawal under the legal terms.
Cancellation due to non-payment: failure to pay within the period indicated at checkout or in the confirmation communication may result in automatic cancellation of the order.
The catalogue available at https://magmag.pt is independent from physical stores, both in terms of prices and stock. All promotional campaigns have limited stock and are exclusive to online sales.
Magager, Lda., under Portuguese Decree-Law No. 7/2004 of 7 January, as currently in force, reserves the right to cancel orders in the event of a programming error, system defect or when the contractual proposal reaches its destination in a distorted form, affecting an essential element of the contract. In such cases, the Customer will be informed and shall be entitled to full reimbursement of the amounts paid.
14. Consumer Goods Guarantee and After-Sales Assistance
Under Portuguese Decree-Law No. 84/2021 of 18 October, goods purchased by consumers at https://magmag.pt benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity for a period of 3 years from delivery of the goods.
The legal guarantee covers lack of conformity existing or appearing within the legal period, under the applicable terms, including situations where the goods do not correspond to the description, are not suitable for normal use or for a specific use communicated and accepted, or do not present the usual qualities and performance of goods of the same type.

Magager, Lda. offers after-sales technical assistance for the brands it represents. In summary:
- Repair requests must be made in writing, via email to suporte@magmag.pt, or directly at the physical store.
- The Customer is responsible for shipping, packaging and properly conditioning the items, as well as including the necessary legal documents, such as proof of purchase, unless the law imposes a different solution.
- Unless covered by legal guarantee, commercial warranty or another legally applicable situation, transport costs shall be borne by the Customer.
- Each request receives an identification number; the repair status will be communicated by email, SMS or telephone, according to the contact details provided by the Customer.
16. Repairs Under Guarantee
- For repairs under guarantee, proof of purchase must be presented, either original or legible copy, identifying the Customer, invoice number and item.
- Absence of proof of purchase may result in treatment as an out-of-guarantee repair, unless Magager, Lda. is able to confirm the purchase by other internal means.
- Products must not be opened, altered or handled outside authorised services, under penalty of exclusion from guarantee where such intervention has caused or aggravated the fault.
- The guarantee does not cover misuse, incorrect handling, improper installation, use contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions, accidental damage or natural wear of parts subject to wear, except where there is a manufacturing defect or legally relevant lack of conformity.
17. Out-of-Guarantee Repairs
- For products outside the guarantee period, all transport, diagnosis and repair costs shall be borne by the Customer, where applicable and previously communicated.
- The Customer may request a prior written quote; the quote will be sent by email or another appropriate written means.
- Acceptance of the quote must be communicated in writing. Exclusively verbal confirmations are not accepted.
- The Customer has 30 days to respond to the quote; in the absence of a response, the quote may be considered rejected after a further contact attempt.
18. Quotes
- If the quote is rejected, the item will be returned unrepaired and may be disassembled where disassembly was necessary for diagnosis. Transport costs are the responsibility of the Customer, unless otherwise provided by law.
- Alternatively, the Customer may choose not to request return shipment; in that case, Magager, Lda. may forward the item for recycling or proper disposal, upon written confirmation from the Customer.

- Home delivery is available, with transport costs borne by the Customer, unless covered by guarantee or another legally applicable solution.

If the item is not collected within that period, Magager, Lda. may send a further communication to the Customer, granting an additional reasonable period for collection. Storage costs or other legally admissible measures may be applied, provided they have been previously communicated to the Customer.
